IMD provides facilities with insurance pre-certification and benefit verification for services provided. Using the information system the facility has in place IMD will confirm patient demographics, insurance and benefit information. Pre-Cerification will be confirmed with notes entered into the system with an estimate of the out of pocket due from the patient. With the changing landscape of insurance design and narrow networks our benefit varification staff has learned to dig deep to ensure the patients are approved to receive services and are advised of thier financial responiblity prior to the service being provided.
Provider scheduling is designed by each providers’ preferred schedule management methodology with times being assigned and managed by a predetermined scheme. Scheduling integrates directly into a comprehensive on-line patient account management system. This allows IMD to integrate the registration process with coding, electronic billing, denial management, revenue and statistical reporting, and finally, accounts receivable collections and follow-up using remote processing capabilities.
